How I approach Counselling

I work across a diverse range of human experience…

• personal - exploring what is happening within.

• Interpersonal - the dynamics of relationships with others

• Transpersonal - relating to the spiritual dimensions of life

I have a high regard for the value of every person and the importance of the choices we make in life. Therefore I come alongside clients building safety and trust to help them unravel what is happening for them and then work with them to identify and choose a way forward.  I also seek to support them as they make the changes necessary to live a more fulfilling life.

I use a range of modalities including Gestalt, TA, CBT, Narrative and Refocussing in order to tailor the therapy to the needs of the client and their situation. 

Professional Training and Supervision

I receive on-going professional training each year and I am supported by supervision on a regular basis to maintain my ethical and professional standards.

I participate in a local peer support group with fellow counsellors.

Fees

My fee is $100.00 per hour session

Concessions are available for those in lower income bracket
